MEET YOUR COACHES
We’re a dynamic coaching duo who bring complementary expertise to every camp: George’s structured skills development approach and deep Williamsburg community roots combined with Karen’s PPA Tour championship credentials and gift for creating breakthrough moments.
I’m a PPR Certified Instructor based in the Williamsburg, Virginia area who’s dedicated my career to one mission: helping passionate pickleball players build solid fundamentals and develop the skills they need to progress to the next level and get championship-ready one day.
What I bring to your game:
Conducted many pickleball camps – proven track record
My approach: I specialize in skills enhancement sessions that focus on drills and skills for players with basic knowledge. My teaching emphasizes building a strong foundation through structured practice and skill development, not just playing games, but actually improving your technique one shot at a time.
As an active tournament competitor, I understand what it takes to develop solid fundamentals that hold up under pressure. I bring that competitive experience to my instruction, ensuring you learn the right way from day one.
MEET YOUR COACHES
I’m a PPA Tour Gold Medalist who brings championship credentials combined with a genuine passion for creating welcoming, encouraging environments where players achieve breakthrough moments. I specialize in helping intermediate players unlock their potential through purposeful drilling and clear, constructive feedback.
What I bring to your game:
My story: I began playing pickleball at the beginning of the Covid lockdown as a way to get outside, be active, and interact with others outside of my home, like so many other athletes did. I quickly became hooked on pickleball mostly due to the welcomed sense of community it brought me, and the quickness of the games.
I played my first tournament in July 2024 and won the gold medal, talk about beginner’s luck! That success encouraged me to keep competing, and I’ve since taken home gold medals at two PPA Tour events. But what I love most isn’t the medals, it’s helping other players discover what pickleball can do for them.
My approach: Pickleball has an amazing ability to bring people together from all walks of life. I really enjoy helping students master new skills and improve their strategic gameplay. I respect that these individuals have chosen to invest the time required to level up and have the dedication to learning the sport, all in the name of FUN! I bring the experience, energy, enthusiasm, encouragement, and patience during the learning process.
I involve you in the learning process. After teaching the skills, I have you identify your own mistakes and what adjustments you need to make, rather than just telling you what to change. This approach helps everything click faster and makes improvements stick permanently.
George’s Structured Skills Development + Karen’s Championship Breakthrough Facilitation = Complete Player Transformation
George brings structured, foundational expertise: As a PPR Certified Instructor and active tournament competitor with deep roots in the Williamsburg pickleball community, he specializes in skills enhancement sessions that focus on drills and skills for players with basic knowledge. His teaching emphasizes building a strong foundation through structured practice and skill development, not just playing games, but actually improving your technique one shot at a time.
Karen brings PPA Tour championship credentials and breakthrough facilitation: With Gold medals from two PPA Tour events and a gift for breaking techniques into simple, practical steps, she creates welcoming, encouraging environments where breakthrough moments happen naturally. She’s excellent at reading people and understanding group dynamics, pairing players thoughtfully and adjusting instruction so everyone is challenged but not overwhelmed. Her consistently positive and uplifting presence makes learning both effective and enjoyable.
Together, we deliver purposeful drilling with championship results: Not boring, repetitive drilling, but structured, breakthrough-focused drilling where you hit a plethora of balls while receiving guidance from two coaches with complementary expertise. The kind where George’s structured skills development meets Karen’s championship credentials and gift for facilitating understanding. The kind that builds both solid fundamentals and genuine confidence.

Most camps spend too much time talking and not enough time doing.
We’re the opposite.
Here’s our philosophy: Drilling = Transformation
You don’t get better by listening to lectures about the third shot drop. You get better by hitting third shot drops repeatedly while two experienced coaches watch and correct you.
And here’s the truth about why we’re obsessed with drilling:
We all love that moment when we implement something new and it actually works, but how do you ensure it remains working? You drill. Again and again. Building not only discipline but consistency.
That moment when you adjust your paddle angle and suddenly your third shot lands exactly where you want it. Everytime.
That rush when you hit 10 serves in a row to the same spot with accuracy.
That feeling when your opponent fires a fast ball at you and you put it away cleanly, like it’s a reflex.
You don’t have to wait weeks to see if the coaching worked. You see it immediately. Right there on the court.
That’s why drilling is the heartbeat of our camps. Not because we think it’s good for you (though it is), but because it’s incredibly satisfying to watch yourself improve in real-time.
George brings structured skills development through focused drills, while Karen creates the breakthrough moments where everything clicks and you identify your own solutions. Together, we help you progress faster than you thought possible.
See why 98% of our campers recommend this camp.
Yeah. I’m Gene Justman out of, Denver, Colorado, and, good nuts and bolts program on, playing pickleball. I learned to get low.
I learned to hit the ball long and towards the back line. Great program.
– Gene Justman
Hi, I’m Debbie from Oklahoma. I really enjoyed today’s drill. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it exceeded my expectations. I got plenty of reps, learned many new aspects of the game, and added to my toolbox. It was a great experience.
– Debbie
Hi, I’m Linda. I’m from Iowa. I joined the camp today. It was great to touch on all different aspects. We’re able to drill enough that we got good at all the different aspects. So I’m ready to hit the courts.
– Linda
A super helpful tip today thatI know I can apply immediatelyand some really great drills that my wife, who’s my playing partner, and I can can put to use this week as well. It was a great clinic.
– Camp Attendee
Hi. I just finished an Obsessed
Pickleballers clinic, and I would
recommend it to anyone who wants to get better. Mark has a great way of explaining things, and he teaches in a way that anyone can get better in the four hour session.
– Camp Attendee
You know that moment when you replay the match in your head…
…thinking about all the shots you should have made?
…watching players you know you should beat walk away with the win?
…feeling that gap between the player you are and the player you know you could be?
That ends on May 3rd.
Because by the time you walk off the court at 4:00 PM, something fundamental will have changed. Your body will respond differently. Your mind will read the game differently. And the next time you play, your regular partners will immediately notice something has shifted.
You walk onto your local court for your regular morning game.
As soon as you start warming up, your playing partners stop and stare.
“What happened to you?”
Your serves are landing deep and aggressive, no more shanks, no more pop-ups. When they return, you’re already reading where the ball is going. Your third shot drop is pulling them out of position. At the kitchen line, you’re controlling rallies with patience and precision they’ve never seen from you before.
By the third game, they’re asking what you did. By the fifth game, they’re asking where you learned it. By the time you leave, they’re asking if you can teach them.
That’s the difference between who you are right now and who you’ll be after the camp.
And it all starts the moment you register, because the transformation begins before you even arrive.
We’ll teach you how to control rallies through intelligent positioning and smart shot selection, not just power. You’ll start winning more points while using less energy.
Soon after camp, your opponents will be working twice as hard for half the results. While they’re gasping for air, you’ll stay fresh, composed, and ready for the next point.
This is especially important for us 40+ players. We focus on helping you play smarter, not harder, so you can play multiple times a week without burning out or risking injury.
We’ll connect you with other passionate players at your exact skill level. You’ll exchange numbers, join the Obsessed Pickleballers Community together, and stay permanently connected with everyone you meet.
No one gets left behind. Whether you’re naturally social or more reserved, local or visiting, you’ll be welcomed and seamlessly connected with the entire group through our community platform.
After camp, the group chat starts buzzing with game invites and practice sessions. By next month, you’ll have a regular crew of players who understand your goals, your schedule, and your commitment to improvement, no more showing up alone, hoping to find a good match.
We’ll eliminate the hesitation that’s been costing you points. Drive or drop? Your body already knows. When to move to the kitchen? You’re already moving. How to handle the lob? You’re executing before you finish thinking about it.
When you step into matches the following week, your opponents will see the difference. They’ll see a player who moves with confidence and certainty—someone who’s always one step ahead.
We’ll help you identify the technical flaws that are quietly limiting your game. With George’s structured skills development approach and Karen’s gift for breaking techniques into simple, practical steps, plus her method of having you identify your own mistakes and solutions, you’ll correct problems permanently—not just temporarily.
Most players spend years battling the same weaknesses. You’ll correct yours in a single afternoon, with guidance from two experienced coaches.
That forehand that used to sail long? Now landing deep with topspin.
The backhand you avoided? Now a dependable go-to shot.
The serve that made you nervous? Now setting up points in your favor.
We’ll show you how good you can actually be. You’ll leave energized, confident, and already looking forward to your next time on the court.
Remember when you first fell in love with pickleball, when you couldn’t wait to play? If that feeling has been fading lately…
On May 3rd, it comes roaring back.
Because when you experience what it feels like to play at your true potential, when you finally break through that plateau, that’s when the obsession returns.
