MEET YOUR COACH
Meet Coach Kevin – Your “Zero to Hero” Guide To The Next Level
I’m an IPTPA Instructor, Certifier and Pickleball Professional with 30+ years of coaching experience who’s dedicated my career to one mission: helping passionate pickleball players unlock their true potential through smart, strategic play—especially players in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond.
My motto is “Zero to Hero” and I believe that anyone can improve their game with the right attitude, practice, and guidance.
What I bring to your game:
My story? I’ve been coaching pickleball and tennis for over 30 years, and I’ve won three National Championships. What drives me is seeing players transform from uncertain beginners to confident competitors. I’ve traveled all over the country conducting multi-day camps and clinics, and I bring that same fun-filled, high-energy approach to every session.
My approach: I’m a master at breaking down skills into teachable components and then building them back into techniques you can put into action immediately. I don’t just teach—I make learning fun and easy. With 30 years of experience and wisdom to share, I bring the energy and enthusiasm that keeps you engaged from the first drill to the last point.
I bring 30+ years of proven teaching methodology combined with three National Championship titles. I’m not just a player who coaches—I’m a certified instructor who trains other instructors.
But here’s what I’m MOST excited about: The drilling. Lots and lots of drilling.
Not boring, repetitive drilling—but fun-filled, high-energy drilling that builds confidence through repetition. The kind where you hit 40-50 balls in rapid succession and feel yourself improving in real-time. The kind that champions use to win National titles.
I don’t waste time talking. We drill. You improve. You feel it immediately.
On April 11th, I’m bringing this “Zero to Hero” expertise to just a few lucky players in Tigard.

Most camps spend too much time talking and not enough time doing.
I’m the opposite.
Here’s my philosophy: Drilling = Transformation
You don’t get better by listening to lectures about the third shot drop. You get better by hitting 20-30 third shot drops in a row while a coach watches and corrects you.
And here’s the truth about why I’m obsessed with drilling:
Because let’s be honest—we all love that moment when we implement something new and it actually WORKS, don’t we?
That moment when you adjust your paddle angle and suddenly your third shot lands exactly where you want it.
That rush when you hit 10 serves in a row to the same spot.
That feeling when your opponent fires a fast ball at you and you put it away cleanly.
You don’t have to wait weeks to see if the coaching worked. You see it immediately. Right there on the court.
That’s why drilling is the heartbeat of my camps. Not because I think it’s good for you (though it is), but because it’s incredibly satisfying to watch yourself improve in real-time.
See why 98% of our campers recommend this camp.
Yeah. I’m Gene Justman out of, Denver, Colorado, and, good nuts and bolts program on, playing pickleball. I learned to get low.
I learned to hit the ball long and towards the back line. Great program.
– Gene Justman
Hi, I’m Debbie from Oklahoma. I really enjoyed today’s drill. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it exceeded my expectations. I got plenty of reps, learned many new aspects of the game, and added to my toolbox. It was a great experience.
– Debbie
Hi, I’m Linda. I’m from Iowa. I joined the camp today. It was great to touch on all different aspects. We’re able to drill enough that we got good at all the different aspects. So I’m ready to hit the courts.
– Linda
A super helpful tip today thatI know I can apply immediatelyand some really great drills that my wife, who’s my playing partner, and I can can put to use this week as well. It was a great clinic.
– Camp Attendee
Hi. I just finished an Obsessed
Pickleballers clinic, and I would
recommend it to anyone who wants to get better. Mark has a great way of explaining things, and he teaches in a way that anyone can get better in the four hour session.
– Camp Attendee
You know that moment when you replay the match in your head…
…thinking about all the shots you should have made?
…watching players you know you should beat walk away with the win?
…feeling that gap between the player you are and the player you know you could be?
That ends on April 11th.
Because by the time you walk off the court at 12:00 PM, something fundamental will have changed. Your body will respond differently. Your mind will read the game differently. And the next time you play, your regular partners will immediately notice something has shifted.
You walk onto your local court for your regular morning game.
As soon as you start warming up, your playing partners stop and stare.
“What happened to you?”
Your serves are landing deep and aggressive—no more shanks, no more pop-ups. When they return, you’re already reading where the ball is going. Your third shot drop is pulling them out of position. At the kitchen line, you’re controlling rallies with patience and precision they’ve never seen from you before.
By the third game, they’re asking what you did. By the fifth game, they’re asking where you learned it. By the time you leave, they’re asking if you can teach them.
That’s the difference between who you are right now and who you’ll be after the camp.
And it all starts the moment you register—because the transformation begins before you even arrive.
I’ll teach you how to control rallies through intelligent positioning and smart shot selection—not just power. You’ll start winning more points while using less energy.
Soon after camp, your opponents will be working twice as hard for half the results. While they’re gasping for air, you’ll stay fresh, composed, and ready for the next point.
This is especially important for us 50+ players. We focus on helping you play smarter, not harder—so you can play multiple times a week without burning out or risking injury.
I’ll connect you with 7 other passionate players at your exact skill level. You’ll exchange numbers, join the Obsessed Pickleballers Community together, and stay permanently connected with everyone you meet.
No one gets left behind. Whether you’re naturally social or more reserved, local or visiting, you’ll be welcomed and seamlessly connected with the entire group through our community platform.
After camp, the group chat starts buzzing with game invites and practice sessions. By next month, you’ll have a regular crew of players who understand your goals, your schedule, and your commitment to improvement—no more showing up alone, hoping to find a good match.
I’ll eliminate the hesitation that’s been costing you points. Drive or drop? Your body already knows. When to move to the kitchen? You’re already moving. How to handle the lob? You’re executing before you finish thinking about it.
When you step into matches the following week, your opponents will see the difference. They’ll see a player who moves with confidence and certainty—someone who’s always one step ahead.
I’ll help you identify the 2–3 technical flaws that are quietly limiting your game. Once I show you exactly how to fix them, the shots that used to frustrate you become reliable strengths.
Most players spend years battling the same weaknesses. You’ll correct yours in a single morning.
That forehand that used to sail long? Now landing deep with topspin.
The backhand you avoided? Now a dependable go-to shot.
The serve that made you nervous? Now setting up points in your favor.
I’ll show you how good you can actually be. You’ll leave energized, confident, and already looking forward to your next time on the court.
Remember when you first fell in love with pickleball—when you couldn’t wait to play? If that feeling has been fading lately…
On April 11th, it comes roaring back.
Because when you experience what it feels like to play at your true potential—when you finally break through that plateau—that’s when the obsession returns.
Most camps charge such hefty prices and send you home with nothing but memories.
I’m giving you a complete transformation system for life:
Why this matters:
You know that moment three weeks after a camp when you forget exactly what the coach said about your backhand? Or you can’t remember the exact footwork pattern for the third shot?
This book is your insurance policy.
Here’s what’s inside:
Over 500 five-star reviews from players just like you who use it as their ongoing playbook.
Why this matters:
Your camp crew of 8 is amazing—but imagine having access to hundreds of passionate players AND coaches from across the entire US.
Here’s what happens in the community:
Real benefit: Your 8-person crew just became a nationwide family. Continuous coaching, continuous connection, continuous improvement—forever.
You’re past the beginner phase. You understand the game. You win matches.
But you know there’s another level waiting for you.
You can feel it when you’re on court – those moments when everything clicks. When your dink placement is perfect. When you anticipate your opponent’s move before they make it. When you dominate the kitchen line.
Imagine playing at that level consistently.
That’s exactly what happens when you train with me at the Obsessed Pickleballers Camp.
On April 4th, you’re going to experience 4 hours that will completely transform how you see the game – and how you play it.
🎯 Elite-Level Training Designed Specifically For 3.0-3.5 Players
This isn’t a general clinic where beginners and advanced players are mixed together. Every single drill, every strategy lesson, every piece of coaching is designed specifically for YOUR level.
You’re at the stage where small adjustments create massive improvements. I know exactly which adjustments will take your game from “pretty good” to “wow, you’ve gotten so much better!”
🎓 My Proven 4-Phase Transformation System
This isn’t random drills thrown together. I have developed a systematic approach that takes 3.0-3.5 players and transforms their game in just 4 hours.
💎 Ongoing Support Beyond The Camp
The camp is just the beginning. You’ll get lifetime access to our Obsessed Pickleballers community (normally $30/month) with weekly virtual sessions, ongoing coaching, and a network of passionate players.
This isn’t a one-day event – it’s the start of your transformation journey.
This camp is designed for 3.0-3.5 DUPR players. You should be comfortable with basic strokes and understand court positioning. If you’re unsure about your level, reach out and we’ll help you determine if this camp is right for you.
Absolutely! You don’t need a DUPR rating to attend. The DUPR range (3.0-3.5) is simply to help you understand who this camp is designed for. If you consider yourself an intermediate player who’s comfortable with basic strokes and ready to take your game to the next level, you’re in the right place.
Absolutely! I specialize in working with intermediate players at all levels within the 3.0-3.5 range. As a 3x National Champion with 30+ years of coaching experience and IPTPA Instructor/Certifier credentials, I adjust drill speed and intensity to match each player’s ability—from controlled pace to rocket-fast. You’ll be challenged but never overwhelmed.
Bring your paddle, court shoes, water bottle, a towel, and comfortable athletic wear. We’ll provide the balls and all training equipment. The facility has both indoor and outdoor courts, so dress accordingly.
Please bring your phones as well to save contacts of fellow players.
Yes! With a maximum of 8 students, you’ll receive personalized feedback throughout the camp. As an IPTPA Instructor and Certifier with 30+ years of experience teaching hundreds of students, I’m known for quickly identifying what needs fixing and helping you correct it on the spot—often fixing every shot in a single session.
We understand life happens. If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 7 days before the camp for a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days will receive a 50% refund or the option to transfer to a future camp.
Immediately upon registration:
You can start learning and connecting before you even arrive.
The SURPRISE bonus will be sent to you after the camp.
Most camps spend 60-70% of the time talking, 30-40% drilling.
I flip that: 20-30% instruction, 60-70% drilling with instruction.
Here’s my philosophy: You don’t get better by listening. You get better by doing.
If you love drilling (and you should—it’s how you improve), you’ll love this camp.
This is your moment.
