MEET YOUR COACHES
Meet Your Champion Coaching Team – Your Path To The Next Level
I’m a PPR Pro and Head Pickleball Professional with a revolutionary coaching approach that’s helped hundreds of players break through plateaus and reach their true potential…especially players in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond.
What I bring to your game:
My story? I’ve coached everyone from complete beginners to 4.5+ advanced players. I’ve competed at the senior professional level and won gold at National Championships. After facing kidney failure and working my way back, I understand what it takes to overcome challenges and continue improving at any stage of life.
My revolutionary approach: I use the Ecological Approach to coaching…moving away from traditional “fundamental-first” repetitive drilling. Instead of giving you pre-set solutions to repeat, I give you real game problems and let you discover adaptive solutions. This creates true “knowledge of” the game through lived experience, not just “knowledge about” the game.
I’m a 4.5 to 5.0 level competitive player and instructor who specializes in strategic “soft game” mastery, helping advanced players develop the dinking finesse, reset precision, and mental endurance required to win long rallies and outlast opponents.
What I bring to your game:
My story? I’m a fixture in the Pickleball scene in Minnesota, where I compete in “Open” play and high-level competitive brackets. I’m known as a “grinder”—a player with high endurance and a strategic soft game built on patience, precision, and outlasting opponents. This playing style made me the perfect partner for Rob Gray, especially as his health declined and he needed someone who could cover more court.
On November 6, 2025, I donated a kidney to Rob… my doubles partner and friend. Six weeks later, I was back competing on the court. In the pickleball community, this recovery time is considered a legendary feat of physical conditioning and mental toughness.
My approach: I’m a “Ted Lasso” coach… I believe in giving more positive feedback than negative. I love coaching players who love the game as much as I do. I specialize in teaching dinking, defense, and drops, the strategic soft game that wins championships. While power players get the highlight reels, it’s the grinders who win tournaments. I help advanced players develop the patience, precision, and mental fortitude required to win long rallies, neutralize aggressive opponents, and execute under pressure.
Why Rob and I coach together: We’re the perfect teaching duo. Rob brings revolutionary constraint-based methodology and tactical mastery. I bring championship-level endurance training and soft game expertise. Together, we give you both sides of advanced play, the strategic problem-solving AND the physical/mental stamina to execute for four hours straight.
Rob’s Revolutionary Methodology + Matt’s Championship Endurance = Complete Advanced Player Development
Rob brings the Constraints-Led Approach (CLA): Using strategic constraints like varying net height, ball size, or player positioning to help you adapt quickly to variable match scenarios. This builds real game intelligence, not just mechanical repetition. Instead of giving you pre-set solutions to repeat, Rob gives you real game problems and lets you discover adaptive solutions—creating true “knowledge of” the game through lived experience.
Matt brings championship-level soft game mastery: As a 4.5-5.0 competitive “grinder” known for strategic dinking, resets, and high endurance, Matt teaches the mental fortitude and tactical patience required to win long rallies and outlast aggressive opponents. He specializes in the championship soft game that frustrates power players and controls points through precision rather than force.
Together, we deliver problem-solving drilling with championship stamina: Not boring, repetitive drilling, but constraint-based, high-intensity drilling that forces your brain to adapt while building the physical and mental endurance to execute under pressure for extended periods. The kind where you face scenarios at match speed while developing the grinder mentality that wins championships.
We don’t waste time on mechanical repetition or basics you’ve mastered. We solve problems, build endurance, and elevate competitive execution. You adapt. You outlast. You dominate.
On May 23rd, we’re bringing this proven partnership and championship-focused approach to 16 serious competitors ready to break through to elite-level play.

Most camps spend too much time talking and not enough time doing.
We’re the opposite.
Here’s our philosophy: Drilling = Transformation
You don’t get better by listening to lectures about the third shot drop. You get better by hitting third shot drops repeatedly while a coach watches and corrects you.
And here’s the truth about why we’re obsessed with drilling:
Because let’s be honest—we all love that moment when we implement something new and it actually WORKS, don’t we?
That moment when you adjust your paddle angle and suddenly your third shot lands exactly where you want it.
That rush when you hit 10 serves in a row to the same spot.
That feeling when your opponent fires a fast ball at you and you put it away cleanly.
You don’t have to wait weeks to see if the coaching worked. You see it immediately. Right there on the court.
See why 98% of our campers recommend this camp.
Yeah. I’m Gene Justman out of, Denver, Colorado, and, good nuts and bolts program on, playing pickleball. I learned to get low.
I learned to hit the ball long and towards the back line. Great program.
– Gene Justman
Hi, I’m Debbie from Oklahoma. I really enjoyed today’s drill. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it exceeded my expectations. I got plenty of reps, learned many new aspects of the game, and added to my toolbox. It was a great experience.
– Debbie
Hi, I’m Linda. I’m from Iowa. I joined the camp today. It was great to touch on all different aspects. We’re able to drill enough that we got good at all the different aspects. So I’m ready to hit the courts.
– Linda
A super helpful tip today thatI know I can apply immediatelyand some really great drills that my wife, who’s my playing partner, and I can can put to use this week as well. It was a great clinic.
– Camp Attendee
Hi. I just finished an Obsessed
Pickleballers clinic, and I would
recommend it to anyone who wants to get better. Mark has a great way of explaining things, and he teaches in a way that anyone can get better in the four hour session.
– Camp Attendee
You know that moment when you replay the match in your head…
…thinking about all the shots you should have made?
…watching players you know you should beat walk away with the win?
…feeling that gap between the player you are and the player you know you could be?
That ends on May 23rd
Because by the time you walk off the court at 4:00 PM, something fundamental will have changed. Your body will respond differently. Your mind will read the game differently. And the next time you play, your regular partners will immediately notice something has shifted.
You walk onto your local court for your regular morning game.
As soon as you start warming up, your playing partners stop and stare.
“What happened to you?”
Your court positioning is perfect, you’re always in the right place at the right time. Your strategic decision-making is sharp. You’re not just hitting good shots… you’re constructing points like a 4.5 player. At the kitchen line, you’re solving problems your opponents create before they even know what’s happening.
By the third game, they’re asking what you did. By the fifth game, they’re asking where you learned it. By the time you leave, they’re asking if you can teach them.
That’s the difference between who you are right now and who you’ll be after the camp.
And it all starts the moment you register… because the transformation begins before you even arrive.
We will teach you how to control rallies through intelligent positioning and shot selection—not power. You’ll start winning more points while using less energy.
Soon after camp, your opponents will work twice as hard for half the results. While they’re gasping for air, you’ll be fresh and ready for the next point.
This is especially important for us 40+ players: You’ll learn to play smarter, not harder, which means you can play multiple times a week without wearing yourself out or risking injury.
You will meet other passionate 40+ players at your exact skill level. You’ll exchange numbers, join the Obsessed Pickleballers Community together, and have permanent contact with everyone you meet.
Nobody gets left behind. Whether you’re naturally social or more reserved, local or visiting, you’ll be welcomed and connected with the entire group through the community platform.
Then, after camp, the group chat starts buzzing with game invitations and practice sessions. By next month, you’ll have a regular crew of players who understand your goals, your schedule, and your commitment to improvement. No more showing up alone, hoping to find a good match.
We will eliminate the hesitation that’s been costing you points. Should you drive or drop? Your body knows. When do you move to the kitchen? You’re already moving. How do you handle the lob? You’re executing before you finish thinking about it.
Then, when you’re playing matches next week, your opponents will watch you differently. They’ll see someone who plays with confidence and certainty—someone who’s always one step ahead.
We will help you identify the technical flaws that are currently holding you back. When we show you exactly how to fix them, the shots that used to frustrate you suddenly become your strengths.
Most players spend years fighting the same weaknesses. You’ll correct yours in a single morning.
The forehand that used to sail long? Landing deep with topspin.
The backhand you used to avoid? Now your go-to shot.
The serves that made you nervous? Setting up points in your favor.
We will show you how good you can actually be. You’ll leave buzzing with excitement, already planning your next practice session.
Remember when you first fell in love with pickleball? When you couldn’t wait to play? If that feeling has been fading lately…
On May 23rd, it comes roaring back.
Because when you experience what it feels like to play at your true potential, when you finally break through that plateau, that’s when the obsession returns.

Elite-Level Training Designed Specifically For 3.6-4.0 Players
This isn’t a general clinic where beginners and advanced players are mixed together. Every single drill, every strategy lesson, every piece of coaching is designed specifically for YOUR level.
You’re at the stage where small adjustments create massive improvements. I know exactly which adjustments will take your game from “pretty good” to “wow, you’ve gotten so much better!”
My Proven 4-Phase Transformation System
This isn’t random drills thrown together. I have developed a systematic approach that takes 3.5-4.0 players and transforms their game in just 4 hours.
Ongoing Support Beyond The Camp
The camp is just the beginning. You’ll get lifetime access to our Obsessed Pickleballers community (normally $30/month) with weekly virtual sessions, ongoing coaching, and a network of passionate players.
This isn’t a one-day event – it’s the start of your transformation journey.
This camp is designed specifically for 3.6-4.0 DUPR players. You should already dink, drop, and volley consistently. You should understand basic strategy but struggle with execution under pressure.
Be honest: If you’re still working on consistency and technique, you’re not ready for this camp. Take our 3.0-3.5 camp first.
Yes—if you’re a strong 3.5 pushing toward 4.0. This camp assumes you have the shots and need the strategy.
We drill at competitive intensity. If you dislike pressure or prefer casual instruction, this isn’t the camp for you.
Just bring your paddle, court shoes, athletic wear, sunscreen, water, some snacks, and a towel.
Definitely, you’ll get plenty of personalized feedback and individual attention throughout the day.
You’ll receive immediate access to the eBook, audiobook, and community membership as soon as you register – so you can start improving right away!
Great question! This camp is specifically designed for 3.0-3.5 players, taught by Rob’s proven system, and includes lifetime community access for ongoing support. It’s a completely different experience.
We understand that life happens, and we always aim to be as fair and flexible as possible.
