MEET YOUR COACH
Meet Coach Laura – The Champion Who Started at 50 and Conquered the Sport
I’m a 5x U.S. Open Champion, 3x Olympic Qualifier, and National Champion in five different sports who brings a truly unique combination to every women’s camp: elite championship credentials from decades of competition at the highest levels, 30 years of academic expertise as a college professor in biomechanics and sports psychology, and a scientifically-proven teaching system that’s transformed thousands of women across 700+ camps worldwide—especially women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond.
If you’re over 40 and think you started “too late” to become great at this sport, I’m living proof that your best pickleball is still ahead of you.
What I bring to your game:
My approach with women players: I was a college professor for almost 30 years in the fields of biomechanics, kinesiology, exercise physiology, geometry, physics, nutrition, sports psychology, athletic training and neuroscience—which all play a role in this game. I understand how women’s bodies move, how we learn, and how we build confidence on the court. I’ve won National titles in five different sports and represented the U.S. on the National Racquetball team for 15 years in my 30s and 40s. So I know how to teach women at every age, at every skill level, as I’ve experienced plenty of those aches and pains and injuries myself.
I have a “great eye” for seeing what mechanically is creating the problem in your swing, footwork, shot, serve, or overhead. I’m known for fixing bad habits that have been created due to incorrect body mechanics and motor skills. I genuinely “love” making a difference in women’s games and lives!
I bring championship credentials from five different sports combined with 30 years of academic expertise and a proven track record helping thousands of women break through plateaus. I don’t just teach from athletic experience… I teach from deep scientific knowledge of how women’s bodies and minds work together on the court.
But here’s what I’m MOST excited about: The drilling. Lots and lots of drilling.
Not boring, repetitive drilling… but scientifically-designed, biomechanically-sound drilling that builds proper motor skills and muscle memory. The kind where you hit balls in rapid succession, training your muscle memory, while I analyze your body mechanics and fix the root cause—not just the symptoms. The kind that combines cognitive learning with proper physical technique.
I don’t waste time on surface-level fixes. We identify the mechanical problem. We correct it permanently. You improve dramatically.
On April 25th, I’m bringing this championship-tested, scientifically-proven approach to just a few lucky women in Carrollton.

Most camps spend too much time talking and not enough time doing.
I’m the opposite.
Here’s my philosophy: Drilling = Transformation
You don’t get better by listening to lectures about the third shot drop. You get better by hitting third shot drops repeatedly while a coach with a world of biomechanics expertise watches and corrects you.
And here’s the truth about why I’m obsessed with drilling:
Because let’s be honest—we all love that moment when we implement something new and it actually WORKS, don’t we?
That moment when you adjust your paddle angle and suddenly your third shot lands exactly where you want it.
That rush when you hit 10 serves in a row to the same spot.
That feeling when your opponent fires a fast ball at you and you put it away cleanly.
You don’t have to wait weeks to see if the coaching worked. You see it immediately. Right there on the court.
That’s why drilling is the heartbeat of my camps. Not because I think it’s good for you (though it is), but because it’s incredibly satisfying to watch yourself improve in real-time—and even more satisfying when you understand WHY it’s working.
See why 98% of our campers recommend this camp.
Yeah. I’m Gene Justman out of, Denver, Colorado, and, good nuts and bolts program on, playing pickleball. I learned to get low.
I learned to hit the ball long and towards the back line. Great program.
– Gene Justman
Hi, I’m Debbie from Oklahoma. I really enjoyed today’s drill. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it exceeded my expectations. I got plenty of reps, learned many new aspects of the game, and added to my toolbox. It was a great experience.
– Debbie
Hi, I’m Linda. I’m from Iowa. I joined the camp today. It was great to touch on all different aspects. We’re able to drill enough that we got good at all the different aspects. So I’m ready to hit the courts.
– Linda
A super helpful tip today thatI know I can apply immediatelyand some really great drills that my wife, who’s my playing partner, and I can can put to use this week as well. It was a great clinic.
– Camp Attendee
Hi. I just finished an Obsessed
Pickleballers clinic, and I would
recommend it to anyone who wants to get better. Mark has a great way of explaining things, and he teaches in a way that anyone can get better in the four hour session.
– Camp Attendee
You know that moment when you replay the match in your head…
…thinking about all the shots you should have made?
…watching other women you know you should beat walk away with the win?
…feeling that gap between the player you are and the player you know you could be?
That ends on April 25th.
Because by the time you walk off the court at 4:00 PM, something fundamental will have changed. Your body will respond differently. Your mind will read the game differently. And the next time you play, your regular partners will immediately notice something has shifted.
You walk onto your local court for your regular morning game.
As soon as you start warming up, the women you play with stop and stare.
“What happened to you?”
Your serves are landing deep and aggressive, no more shanks, no more pop-ups. When they return, you’re already reading where the ball is going. Your third shot drop is pulling them out of position. At the kitchen line, you’re controlling rallies with patience and precision they’ve never seen from you before.
By the third game, they’re asking what you did. By the fifth game, they’re asking where you learned it. By the time you leave, they’re asking if you can teach them.
That’s the difference between who you are right now and who you’ll be after the camp.
And it all starts the moment you register… because the transformation begins before you even arrive.
I’ll teach you how to control rallies through intelligent positioning and smart shot selection, not just power. You’ll start winning more points while using less energy.
Soon after camp, your opponents will be working twice as hard for half the results. While they’re gasping for air, you’ll stay fresh, composed, and ready for the next point.
This is especially important for women 40+. We focus on helping you play smarter, not harder, so you can play multiple times a week without burning out or risking injury.
I’ll connect you with other passionate women at your exact skill level. You’ll exchange numbers, join the Obsessed Pickleballers Community together, and stay permanently connected with everyone you meet.
No one gets left behind. Whether you’re naturally social or more reserved, local or visiting, you’ll be welcomed and seamlessly connected with the entire group through our community platform.
After camp, the group chat starts buzzing with game invites and practice sessions. By next month, you’ll have a regular crew of women who understand your goals, your schedule, and your commitment to improvement, no more showing up alone, hoping to find a good match.
I’ll eliminate the hesitation that’s been costing you points. Drive or drop? Your body already knows. When to move to the kitchen? You’re already moving. How to handle the lob? You’re executing before you finish thinking about it.
When you step into matches the following week, your opponents will see the difference. They’ll see a woman who moves with confidence and certainty… someone who’s always one step ahead.
I’ll help you identify the technical flaws that are quietly limiting your game or increasing injury risk. With my “great eye” for biomechanics, I can see what’s mechanically creating the problem… and more importantly, I know exactly how to fix it permanently.
Most women spend years battling the same weaknesses. You’ll correct yours in a single afternoon.
That forehand that used to sail long? Now landing deep with topspin.
The backhand you avoided? Now a dependable go-to shot.
The serve that made you nervous? Now setting up points in your favor.
I’ll show you how good you can actually be. You’ll leave energized, confident, and already looking forward to your next time on the court.
Remember when you first fell in love with pickleball, when you couldn’t wait to play? If that feeling has been fading lately…
On April 25th, it comes roaring back.
Because when you experience what it feels like to play at your true potential—when you finally break through that plateau… that’s when the obsession returns.
